While the skies over Gillette Stadium are clear for now, meteorologists are predicting showers during today’s matchup between the New England Patriots and the Kansas City Chiefs. But rainfall in Foxborough, Massachusetts is nothing new for the Chiefs’ most famous fan: Taylor Swift, who’s at the game today to cheer on boyfriend/Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and who made headlines during her storm-plagued Eras Tour show at that same spot a few months ago.

Swift spent most of the week in New York, celebrating her 34th birthday with a host of A-list pals—but without Kelce, who remained in Kansas City to prepare for his team’s next game. She left the city this morning, jet-tracking Instagram account Taylor Swift’s Jets tells us, landing less than an hour from Gillette at Rhode Island’s TF Green airport, not too far from Swift’s Watch Hill mansion.

But as opposed to going to that home, she’s headed to the same stadium that soaked her last summer. “Last night we all danced together in the rain for THE ENTIRE 3.5 HOUR SHOW in foxy Foxborough, MA!!,” Swift wrote on Instagram of an Eras Tour stop at Gillette Stadium in May. “We’ve had rain shows at Gillette Stadium before, but this was a full-on deluge that never let up.”

“It was pretty impressive,” Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said of that stormy show. “She’s tough, man, she just stood out there and played right through it.”

While at that tour stop, Swift was in her body-baring tour garb, today she's off the clock and dressed for the elements. As first captured by social media users, she arrived at the stadium in a cozy, ski-style Chiefs hat and a voluminous black coat. She later shucked the coat to reveal a grey Chiefs sweatshirt, as she took a seat in a box with her dad, Scott Swift, as well as stylist Ashley Avignone, fellow WAG Brittany Mahomes, and other fans.

That sodden tour stop was more than two months before Kelce now famously “very adorably put me on blast on his podcast.” Swift said of his effort to woo her. “We started hanging out right after that,” and the relationship made its public debut when Swift attended her first Chiefs game in September.

Since then, tracking Swift’s spectatorship at games has become a cottage industry for publications and oddsmakers, though the latter group’s grown less concerned with her presence as the Chiefs have lost the last two games she’s attended (against the Green Bay Packers and the Buffalo Bills). It’s true that Swift is a remarkable talent, an economic and social force, and Time’s Person of the Year, but even she cannot control game-altering calls made by NFL referees.

The Chiefs are hoping their luck will change this weekend. If they were to lose today, it would be their first three-game streak of losses for the team since 2014, as well as a blow to their pride. After all, this matchup was initially scheduled for tomorrow night, but lost the coveted Monday Night Football slot due to what Sports Illustrated calls “the Pats’ dismal season.” To fall to the team with “the worst record in the AFC” would be a bummer, indeed.

Though the close of the NFL season is approaching, this won’t be your last chance to see Swift at a Chiefs game, especially since her Eras tour won’t resume until February 7, 2024. The Chiefs will play the Las Vegas Raiders at 11 a.m. ET on Christmas Day, and the Cincinnati Bengals at 2:25 p.m. ET on New Year’s Eve. Will Swift give up her holidays to cheer Kelce on? I guess we’ll see next weekend.
